Yeah. Go ahead... see what happens when you Jailbreak it and then try to send it in if it breaks... we'll just send a picture of us laughing at you... and a letter explaining how your warranty has been Voided. Yeah... we'll also tell you how we read the history of your iPod and found out that you did a Factory Restore to try to cover it up. Yeah... go ahead... you do what you want to do.
I already did buddy. Jailbroke, sent it in and got it back fixed.
I seriously doubt that... Jailbreaking your iPhone (All Generations), iPod Touch (All Generations), iPod Classic, and iPod Nano (All Generation) voids the warranty ( Yes, I've heard of Jailbreaking a iPod Classic and iPod Nano). And don't call me, buddy, because I'm not your "buddy".
Not my fault nobody at Apple can do their job properly. My neighbors sent in his Jailbroken 64GB Ipod Touch and got it back repaired too LOL.

Also,

I'll gladly unlock all of the features that I truly payed for. Good day!

Nice of you to give out your IP Address. Maybe I can hack into your Network sometime and have some fun. Next, either the employees at the Apple Repair Center were not doing their job right, or your lying out of your mouth.

I really could care less since I work Apple Retail, but just remember, if you do get caught jailbreaking, don't come crying to us.

Wasn't going to "hack" your network, but you really should keep your IP Addresses to yourself. The only person here that has access to your LAN IP is Matt (MaTtKs). And he is no h@ck0rz. Wink

I haz a question...

Is there an 8Gb version of the new iPod Touch 3G?

Wikipedia says yes but Apple's site split the iPod touch in 2 categories, the 8Gb version and the 32Gb/64Gb version... I'm thinking they split it in 2G and 3G...

So?

Are you talking about the iPhone 3G? 3G is a Network speed, so all iPhones are capable of 3G Speeds.

I would gladly pay for a 3G connection on my iPod. There aren't enough hotspots around my area.

You can get a 3G Connection on your iPod Touch. Just find a 3G Hotspot. But I see that you don't have enough Hot Spots. Why don't you make your own at home... If you have a wireless router, hook it up to DSL or higher speeds, and you have a Hotspot. Click Here for a Strong Wireless router.

I have wireless at the house, but not many places around town have wifi. I suspect that would be different in a bigger city, but not the case in smalltown NC.

3G as 3rd Gen.
Yes. 3G does mean Third Generation, but for phone Companies like Sprint and AT&T, 3G is a Network Speed for Internet Browsing and Phone Talk.

Only the 32GB and 64GB are capable to work with 3G Speeds, the 8GB has a slower Performance Rate.

Wait, wait, wait...

I just wanted to know is the iPod Touch 3rd Gen. available with a 8Gb memory? Or just 32 and 64Gb?

If it is available, is there a difference between the 8Gb and the 32/64Gb in performance? And are there any features that are excluded in the 8Gb version?

I just explained that the 32GB and 64GB have Higher Performance Speeds and the 8GB has Lower Performance Speeds.

That is a great game for the iPhone and iPod Touch. People ask about that game all the time at the Apple store I work at.

I believe it is this one:

Cool? Yes, to some extent. Since I work as an Apple Genius (Help people with problem that they may have with their iPhone, iPod, or Mac) it get's really annoying when you have customers that think they know everything compared to you. But it has it's benefits. I do complain about work on here and the Official Call of Duty Forums, so you may hear a few interesting stories, and then you hear me talk about how I'm about to get a glass of wine or scotch.
